A Chorus Line Family Birthdays in June ..... June 5 ~ Miguel Angel ...... June 9 ~ Beth Polito ...... June 10 ~ Debra D Smith ...... June 11 ~ Jacen R Wilkerson
Rain, rain go away come back some other day. At beginning of June the Hawaiian Cultural Center had their annual picnic in Central Park. Inspite of the rain, we were entertained with chanting, hula dancing, lei making and lots of food. My first time attending I was reintroduced to all the dancers from Robert Cazimero's hula workshop I attend at the end of May. I'm sure you will all be proud to know I made my first lei, peach colored roses with baby's breaths with a tea leaf background. Aloha.

Wanted you all to know that the Germany producer of Jesus Christ Superstar, Walter Schuerman was sending the entire company on holiday to Mallora, Spain for two weeks. That was a gift because they had extended their contracts for 3 more weeks. They will be opening in Munich, Germany at the end of this month. A wonderful new concept in theater. We like that.

Have been to Washington, DC quite a bit lately. Besides meetings, got to see A Class Act at the Studio Theater with LAURIE KRAFT, (Barbara-2001 Tour) who played Linda, and George Fulginiti-Shaker, my MD for South Pacific, carried the orchestration and baton extremely well. It was an excellent production and I was so please to know that ED KLEBAN 's (Lyricist ACL) legacy continues to played all around the country. Cousin Irene and her husband James Soo gave a barbacue on Father's Day on a sunny day in New Jersey. Meanwhile, back in New York it was raining cats and dogs. So, what's been happening with you all?

MARRIED: J. ELAINE MARCOS (Connie-Visa tour) married Alex Smuk on Thursday, June 12. She met Alex on the Superstar Tour in Europe, where she was assistant director and he was PSM. They will have a Church Wedding in Toronto Canada next year. Congratulations to you both. I will be at the wedding; will keep you all posted.

LOST: Paul and Drew Geraci.
LOST: Where is Wanda Richert?

Thank you Robert for your word of wisdom as always.

Well, do I have nerve or not. Waited in line at Barnes & Nobles for 1 hour to get Richard Chamberlain's book SHATTERED LOVE. Richard now lives in Hawaii and so I took a photo of my friends Robert Cazimero and Mike Hewitson (who works for Elton John) We had a short but wonderful conversation and he gave me a special extra word or two on my personally signed copy. Love you Richard. Didn't
you just love Dr. Kildare.

Well, that's it till next month. Would love to hear from you and find out what you all have been up to. Please write me at baayorkATachorusline.org.

in loving spirit,

Baayork
